About Charrx
Our Story
Charrx began with a simple belief: helping people maintain their independence and quality of life requires more than treating illness—it requires seeing the whole person and recognising risks before they become crises.
Founded initially as a physiotherapy-focused service, Charrx worked closely with older adults and vulnerable individuals across a variety of health and social care settings. Through this work, it became increasingly clear that many avoidable deteriorations, hospital admissions, and losses of independence were not due to a lack of compassion or commitment from frontline staff, but rather a lack of structured systems that supported early recognition, effective communication, and timely action.
These experiences highlighted a broader need within health and social care: practical approaches that empower workforces, strengthen governance, improve safety, and support person-centred decision-making.
As a result, Charrx evolved beyond its physiotherapy roots into a healthcare innovation and improvement organisation dedicated to supporting safer, more responsive, and more equitable care.
Today, Charrx partners with health and social care organisations to develop workforce capability, improve quality and governance, and create evidence-informed solutions that help teams recognise concerns early, escalate effectively, and continuously improve practice.
SENTRION™ emerged from this journey as Charrx’s flagship framework—reflecting years of frontline experience, clinical insight, and a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable adults.
